By Air
There are three international airports that you can use to reach Órgiva at Granada, Malaga and Almería. These are serviced by a large number of airlines, including Air Berlin, Aer Lingus, BMI Baby, British Airways, Brussels Airlines, Delta, EasyJet, Finnair, Flybe, Iberia, Jet2, Lufthansa, Monarch, Ryanair, SAS, Spanair, and Swiss.

By Car
You can rent a car at all the main airports. We recommend booking on line before your trip. You can also rent a car through Alpujarra Conect. Car is probably the quickest way of reaching Órgiva, although there are local buses, including a good bus service from Malaga.

Directions from the three airports are below. Once in Órgiva, Casa de las Flores is quite easy to find, as it is located in a prominent position above Órgiva. If coming from Granada, turn left off the A348 just after the first BP garage onto the A4132 towards Bubión, Capileira, Carataunus and Trevélez. If coming from the south (Málaga, Salobreña, Motril, Almería), drive through Órgiva on the A348 towards Lanjarón and just after the bridge turn right on the A4132. The road will wind up the hill and after 2.8km you will pass a turning to the left to Cañar. Remain on the main road for another 400 meters and you will see a large cave in the hillside on the left. Turn into the wide driveway on the right opposite the cave. Take the track and you will find Casa de las Flores at the end on the right after about 250 metres. Park in the spaces indicated for your apartment (Jasmin, Buganvilla and Geranio at the top of the drive and Rosa and Camelia at the bottom of the drive).

From Granada (70 km; approx 1 hour)
Leave the airport and take the A-92 east towards Granada. Follow signs to Motríl. Then take the A-44/E-902 south around Granada, following the signs to Motríl and continue on this road until you see the sign for A-348 Lanjarón. Drive through Lanjarón and after entering Órgiva turn left just after the BP garage.

From Malaga (140 km; approx 2 hours)
When you leave the airport follow the signs for Malaga on the N-340/E-15 (not Cadiz, Torremolinos, etc.). Stay on the motorway for a couple of junctions and at the turning for Granada make sure that you stay on the motorway and follow signs for A-7/E-15 towards Motríl. After about 1 hour you will reach the end of the motorway. Stay on the N-340 towards Motril. You will then pass Salobreña, with its spectacular fortress (worth a visit later). You will shortly reach the A-44/E-902 Granada junction. Follow the signs to Granada. Stay on the A44/E-902 Motorway for about 10 minutes until you pass Veléz de Benaudalla. Then take to exit to Órgiva on the A-346. After about 10 minutes you will see Órgiva in the valley to your left. After you go through a short tunnel, turn left at the traffic lights on the A-348 and head up the gentle hill into the town.

From Almería (143 km; approx 2 hours)
Leave the airport and take the A-7/E-15 motorway west around Almería. Follow the road along the coast for about 1½ hours until you reach Motríl. Then look for the A-44/E-902 Granada junction and exit towards Granada. Then follow the same directions as above from Malaga.

From Madrid
Take the E-05 and then the A-44/E-902 to Granada. As you go through Granada, remain on the A-44/E-902 towards Motríl and continue on this road until you see the sign for A-348 Lanjarón and La Alpujarra. Follow the same directions as if you were driving from Granada.
