Casa de las Flores (formerly known as 'Casa Rural Sortes') is a beautiful holiday rental located in the Sortes district of Órgiva in the heart of La Alpujarra in Andalusia, southern Spain. It is a terraced villa built in the traditional Alpujarran style, consisting of 5 separate air-conditioned and centrally heated apartments and two swimming pools. The views are stunning; to the south over the town of Órgiva and the Sierra de Lújar down to the Mediterranean; to the north and east towards La Alpujarra and the Sierra Nevada mountains. As holiday accommodation, you will find Casa de las Flores hard to match in this area.

Casa de las Flores is situated at the end of a short drive off the main scenic road between Órgiva and the famous pueblo blanco white villages of Bubión and Capileira in the Sierra Nevada National Park. It is an ideal base for cycling, mountain biking, walking, hiking, riding and bird watching.

It is about 5 minutes’ drive from the main town of Órgiva, where there are full amenities, such as supermarkets, shops, banks, tapas bars, restaurants, and a 24 hour emergency centre.

About Casa de las Flores

There are 5 casitas (apartments):

1. Jasmin	2 bedrooms, sleeps up to 6. Private swimming pool.
2. Buganvilla	1 bedroom, sleeps up to 4. Shared swimming pool.
3. Geranio	2 bedrooms, sleeps up to 6. Shared swimming pool.
4. Rosa	3 Bedrooms, sleeps up to 8. Shared swimming pool.
5. Camelia	2 bedrooms, sleeps up to 6. Shared swimming pool.

Each apartment is self-contained with its own entrance, a kitchen/dining/living area, bedrooms, bathroom and private terrace for outdoor living. All apartments are air-conditioned, which you will find is a real benefit during the hot summer. The large pool is a great place to relax during the hot summer days. There is a central laundry with automatic washing machine and tumble dryer.

Casa de las Flores is under new ownership and there has been significant investment in improving the facilities, both indoors and in the surrounding gardens. There are gardens surrounding the villa which include fig (edible), cherry, pomegranate, orange, plum, almond, olive, palm and cypress trees, along with a wide variety of flowering plants and shrubs.

Enjoy a truly memorable vacation with the benefits of local amenities but the peace and quite of a stunning rural location, with easy access to some of the best scenery in Spain, as well as a short drive either to the coast (40 minutes) or to Granada (45 minutes), and the world-famous Alhambra Palace.
